Kannawidan Ylocos Festival

Kannawidan is an Ilocano term meaning
feast of rich heritage and culture. Ilocos Sur is a province that has a very rich culture and heritage. Kannawidan means traditions and this province got to showcase all what she has.

To show how aspects of the culture of the people of Ilocos Sur have evolved through the years, the festival offers these activities to the new generation: street dancing and showdown that show off the one-town-one-products (OTOP) of the 34 towns and cities of the province and many more. It is presented by world-class performers showcasing the Beauty of the Ilocos Sur through dances, music, and sounds.

As a proud Ilokano, I am expecting more fun activities for the coming years. This Kannawidan 2019 celebration brought happiness to Ilokanos. Being an Ilokano is surely to be proud of. It was a fun-filled weeks of celebration of the Kannawidan Festival in Ilocos Sur

"Filipino: Wika ng Saliksik"

Napakagandang biyaya, napakagandang wika. Ang wika ang daan para sa magandang samahan. Ito ang daan tungo sa pagkakaunawaan ng isa't isa. Ibat ibang parte ng mundo ay meron nito. Ipinagdiriwang taon-taon ang Buwan ng Wika dahil ang Wikang Filipino ang sumisimbolo sa kultura nating mga Pilipino. Napakahalaga ng wika sa atin ganon na rin sa ating lipunan. Sa ibang bansa ipinagmamalaki rin ng kapwa nating mga Pilipino. Mahalaga ang Wikang Filipino, pero ginagamit pa rin ba ito ng taong bayan? Pilipino ka dapat mong ipagmalaki ang wika natin dahil ito ay nag iisa. Mga malalalim na salitang tagalog ay hirap mong unawain dahil puro ka ingles, para sa tingin ng mga tao sayo ay matalino at sosyal ka. In your statements, it seems that your view of women is very low. They seem to think you are just a few things that have no right and no emotions. Women constitute about half of Filipino society and they come from different   types.
